It all started with an innocent chat in the pub with Peak FM’s Becky Measures.  We were supposed to be discussing upcoming events for the NHBCH charity, but before I knew it I had agreed to jump out of a plane and do a skydive! … O. M . G

I created a Justgiving page and encouraged friends, family, clients and anyone who had some loose change to sponsor me.  As I’m a total lover of  social media it wasn’t too difficult for me to get the message spread far and wide.
My Justgiving page was plastered over Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, various websites and of course my beloved Blog.  I was totally overwhelmed with the response, and by the time it came to the jump I had raised over £1,000 and wimping out was not an option!

You may notice from my pictures that Pudsey (the travelling) Bear was also brave enough to do the skydive with me.  Pudsey is being sponsored to travel around the world – and I was delighted to be part of his adventures.  Click here to see his travels so far.

{ A look of utter relief? }

This year Bimbo Design are very proud to be supporting The National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline. The Helpline is manned as near as possible 24 hours per day, every day and relies solely upon generous donations from the public – click here to find out more.

So all thats left to say is a massive thank you to everyone involved –  Wendy, Becky and  the whole team at NHBCH, the awesome instructors at Langar Airfield, all my fantastic sponsors and of course Pudsey Bear.

It truly was the most mental thing i’ve ever done! … would I do it again?  We’ll see…

Lynsey xx
